~Audi alteram partem~

You know your part of the story. Now hear the other side.
Cos everyone just want to be heard
.

Welcome home. Your 8-day survival begins now.

Dim light. Small square. Sleepless nights. Charging mosquitoes. Sweltering air. Hostile begetter. False conviction.
Welcome home.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
What doesn't makes you stronger makes you crazy.

The Bottom Line

Your sparkling charm can help you connect with a shy or introverted person today.

In Detail

Your sparkling charm can work wonders today -- it can transform a blue friend into a sunny and happy friend, help you connect with a shy or introverted person, and even tame a blustering bully. You turn them into a tame kitty cat! All you have to do is flash a smile and toss a compliment someone's way and the magic will begin! This is a great time in your life to expand your social circle and try to connect with the people you normally would not think of approaching.
It may feel as if the party is over, but the Sun's last day in your sign could stimulate a burst of willful energy. You might wonder how you became so enthusiastic about an idea that wasn't all that important to you at first. But your involvement grew, as did the vision. Now you must face the necessity of radically rethinking your entire life. It's up to you to reinvent your dream and then do your best to live it.

Twilight

Twilight Stephanie Meyer
Just finished readying the much-hyped book of Twilight. I wasn't so interested in it, but since everyone's talking about it, I feel like it's my responsibility to read what's so interesting about it. Can't say I was impressed, just another book for teenagers. However, I give credit to the author for the effort. The way Meyer deliver her story is appealing, just enough humor here and there.

It does make us fall in love with love. With all the sickening thick coating of romanticism cream, too thick for my preference, I can't taste the real cake inside.

But it also makes me wonder: Do you think, honestly, that such love still exists in this world? No man -or woman, in this matter- has that much time for his other half anymore, no? Not many people have enough time even from themselves anymore.
And someone care for your safety more than for his own? Ahem.. I'm skeptical.

It is more believable that vampires exist than such love do.
Is imagination always much more beautiful than reality? Or perhaps, most of the time love does feel that way, only we are not poetic enough to put it into words?

"The glory of first love, and all that. It's incredible, isn't it, the difference between reading about something, seeing it in the pictures, and experiencing it?" -Edward.
After all has been said and done, are you really happy where you are?

WISH LIST!

Really really want (gonna get one of these days):
((given by a friend :) thanks!))

Just admiring (MAYBE going to get it in the far future):

Happy freaking birthday to me

Of course -I got a feeling- this year's birthday not as half as miserable as yesteryear's, but I don't know why I've been feeling moody these few days. I had a tiff with my longest best friend few days back. And since some days ago, people -PEOPLE- have been texting me with "happy advance birthday". I was like "what the...." But of course, for the sake of courtesy, I just said thank you, thank you for remembering anyway (I mean, what else could I ask of? What more do I deserve?).

The only thing (okay, not really THE ONLY) that cheer me up, is Christina Aguilera. That's right, the girl's back with a new album! Well, a greatest hits album, actually. But there are four new songs (or more like songs-sequel), and they are awesome! She still knows who she is, and proud of it!
The transformation between Hollywood Glam to Futuristic Babe is just cute.

For those who keeps saying Christina is a talentless bitch, HELLO? WAKE UP! Learn some music first! Then listen to Paris Hilton. And you can decide what a talentless bitch sounds like. Everybody agrees that Christina Aguilera is a precious jewel in music industry. Watch this and tell me if Britney, or even Miley Cyrus *roll eyes* able to deliver such live performance. Christina does no lip-sync, she'll let you know if she does, which only happen when she dances cos she's not a dancer, she's a musician.

Anyway, it's just great to listen to Christina songs and be reminded: "You are beautiful, no matter what they say. Words can't bring you down."

There's some women out there who talk and stare
Who never seem to let down their hair
Like to past judgement, but they're just scared
Shut up I don't care what you say.
Some days I'm a super bitch, next day I'm your super girl.

So yeah, I'm going to continue this post in few hours. See if there's any change in my day...

Jumper

And so I've finished watching Jumper today, after a few weeks credit-watching. Cinematography-wise, the film is cool. It has a vivid storyline in it and the cinematography is just awesome. Not to mention the editing --the editors must have had real tough time. It has got to win at least one Oscar in the coming year.

But looking through a commoner spectacle, the movie is weird.. The song 'Oops I Did It Again' by Britney Spears keeps ringing in my head while I was watching. Not the entire song, just the bit when it said 'I'm dreaming away; Wishing that heroes, they truly exist'.
Especially "I told you I'm different" part.Cos it just funny how in films the main character would be heroes, saving the world and being different from, uh, the same kind and would fight to the death for the girl he loves. Gosh, that reminds me why I hate romance stories and movies.
Do you honestly sincerely wants me to believe that a guy would be willing to put himself in a miserable death to save the girl he love?

Yeah, it's a fiction anyway. There's no JUMPER in the first place. Oh, one thing I would believe, though: anyone, be it a girl or a guy, would gladly fight with his/her best friend just for his/her girl/guy. I know it first hand; it sucks.

No wonder Shakespeare said "You call it stupid, I call it love." Well, I'd say "You call it love, I call it mental disorder."

EOCI obsession

Most of the greatest masterpieces in this world are not -never- created on the purpose of money.
Men in this decade are the most un-chivalric of all time.
Is this the bad effect of gender equality?

~:~

Which is worse? To live in denial or to live in hatred?
Is this what it is?
Just another reason not to trust men.
Not to trust love.
Cos there's no such thing as happily-ever-after ending.
No knight or prince would want to fight THAT dragon to save THIS princess.

When I finally let someone step closer, it's just another pack of lies.
But I appreciate that that someone left quickly, causing less pain.
There's nothing to cry over.
I decided to change the link to my blog. It was my mistake at the first place: I shouldn't have let just anyone know the link to my journal; it could backfired at me. Now too many people know about this blog --and my thoughts-- it started to become uncomfortable.
Don't get me wrong. It would be just fine if strangers who read things here and felt insulted or otherwise, flattered. Troubles come when the people who read are those who know me halfway. They'll start to draw their own conclusion of who I am. It's scary.

This change of link would definitely create a tiny chaos as many of my close friends already know it and probably check it every once in a while. But no matter, those who really care will come to me and ask about my "missing blog."

Maybe I'll change back my blog link to its original name, for it is held a special connection for me. Maybe. I'll think about it later, though.

The Fiery Star....

And so I have done reading Mars/Earth Enigma (aren't I proud to have finished it). There are many interesting facts -and opinions- I never knew before. But I must say that Emerson (the writer) is too subjective in writing the book. There are many times she mentioned "as evidence strongly indicate," or "according to vast amount of evidence," but it's never exactly mentioned which evidences. If it's too long to list them, at least a reference at the end of the book should be given.
Emerson also drifting away a little too often from the book's topic. Talking about Nazi's conspiracy theory, linking it with Rome church and the ancient religion of goddess worshiping society.

But anyway, let's go back a bit to the Bible statement. I went to ask quote Biblical site unquote regarding the question, and guess what, YES, it is said in the Bible that God created earthS. For example, Hebrews 1:2 in the original language, or certain translations, the word is plural.
The list of the statement: Job 1:6-7; Eph. 3:10; Heb. 1:2; Heb. 11:3; Rev. 12:12.
Now, I never learn and never know the original language of the Bible, be it Hebrew or Greek, therefore I can't assure the truth. To believe or not to believe is completely your decision. I'll try to do more research on them, but won't be anytime soon.

These verses in the Bible, along the story of King Solomon, also indirectly used by Emerson to support her hypothesis of existence on Mars and other planets. But, as when you take reference from other books, it's unfair if you just pick up a sentence or two without letting the readers know what the whole passage is about. The sentence could sound supportive to your argument, but when you read the whole passage, it could have nothing whatsoever to do with the theme of your argument.

Anyway, in conclusion, if you really really are curious about Mars enigma AND have plenty of time in your hand AND don't mind a confusing language structure of a book, then you should pick up Mars/Earth Enigma. Otherwise, you might want to find another book on the topic.
Most of the time, imaginations are way too beautiful.

I know they all will leave sooner or later. But some of them still surprised me by leaving much sooner than I predicted.
Life is a big sarcastic joke.

Soundtrack of the day: Strange Boy by Kerli

If you love me, set me free. If I come back, I'm yours.
If I don't....well, see ya around!
The problem with people today is, we try to make everything easier and simpler.
Thus we make them less special.
For me, the greatest mystery in life is not whatever happened to Amelia Earheart. Or who built the Sphinx.
Or how did Alexander the Great die.

But, why did you leave?

-:-

An unfinished story is a lot more annoying than an unhappy ending.

Life on Mars?

Mars/Earth Enigma
Alright... So I'm reading this book called Mars/Earth Enigma: A Sacred Message to Mankind by DeAnna Emerson.
And there's this paragraph in this book, describing the relic of face on mars: "...the strange humanoid face with a tear in one eye,..." Guess what picture comes to my mind? [Hint: see picture on you right hand side] Okay, for Echelon, you definitely know whose mask this is (in a way, it's ours! *lol*). For those who don't understand, it's a 'trademark' mask of 30 Seconds to Mars.
Gosh, there really is more than meets the eyes with this band.
I knew the story behind their name is truly got something to do with Mars (beside the philosophy, that is), but about the mask....that's a new revelation.

There is another surprise regarding the topic.
I just got to know that there IS indeed a mention about life on other planets ON THE BIBLE. Yes, in the Christian Bible.
That's like, shattering all the beliefs I've ever had all this while. I mean, since I was young I've been taught "There is no such things like ET or whatever out here in the universe. The only life is here, on earth. No other planets. The Bible stated so. *the sentences go on...*)"
So, imagine my surprise! IT IS MENTION OTHERWISE IN THE BIBLE, PEOPLE!
But wait, wait, wait, "the research" is not done yet. It could be some problem with the Bible translation *suspicious look* Will inform you more about that later, so PLEASE, don't draw conclusions just yet.

It's already so baffling, and I haven't even finished half of the book! I'm looking forward to be further "enlightened" by it :D

Horoscope for today:
You need to make some more room in your life for just goofing off! Why not give yourself permission to follow your mood every once in a while? Daydreaming never hurt anyone, and it certainly won't slow you down long enough today to hold you back from making progress. It's not a waste of time to imagine what life would be like if things were different -- it's a good way to stay creative! You need to make sure that you have at least a couple hours of free time, today.

Yeah, been thinking what my life would be if things were different.

Would it be better? Would it be more beautiful? Would it be less?
Would it be perfect instead?
Would I still be like who I am today?

Been wishing that it was different. Feeling that it would all be perfectly beautiful if my life was some other people's. But, as always, I got home. Look around, and realized that my life is still mine after all...

But hey, then again, that's just once-in-a-while feeling. Looking at brighter side, I thank God for what I have. I wouldn't trade it for anyone's life. For all that I've been through, has made me who I am today.
